January 1: Remember
the good old days when there were Bloody Marys after every race. No longer. Thanks
to Mike, we did have the ingredients after racing.
It was Sunny with winds from the NW at 5-20. RC Doug started out with a WL and
then a triangle, then a triangle around the piling, then a triangle followed by
a WL (I'm missing one). Twice, the big three (#16, #6, and #54) all got called
over at the leeward end of the line, but each time they seemed to fight back and
end up at the top of the heap. Tim managed three bullets to win the Hangover Bowl
and Chuck picked up one and got second and Peter got one and had a daily third.
Back racing again on Sunday.
